Mizzou didn’t just run over Big 8 and Big 12 defenses throughout the course of its decorated football history.
In fact, Mizzou’s two most recent single-season record-holders set their mark in the SEC.
Here’s the complete history of every 1,000-yard rusher in Mizzou football history.
Missouri’s 1,000-Yard Rushers
Ahmad Hardy topped the 1,000-yard mark in Week 11 of the 2025 season, giving Mizzou its 9th 1,000-yard rushing season as an SEC member. He rushed for 300 yards in Week 12. Notably, Henry Josey ran for 1,000 yards in the Tigers’ final year in the Big 12 and second year in the SEC. Here’s a look at every Tiger who has rushed for 1,000 yards in a season (* indicates the player was not in the SEC at the time).
